Jan-Henning Evers spent 16 years working as a lawyer in the insurance industry, ten of which in executive leadership roles. Across all stages of his career, the topic of claims – the delivery of services in the event of damage – has played a central role. With the advent of cyber insurance and the establishment of a Claims & Incident Response unit for a cyber MGA, IT security became an integral part of his work. Since 2024, he has advised clients as an independent lawyer and founder of the law firm EVERSLEGAL, with a strong focus on compliance and corporate security. In early 2025, he also became Managing Partner of his own IT service company, Experts4Cyber GmbH, where he supports Germany’s mid-sized businesses in the areas of incident response and prevention. Together with his team of specialists, he helps companies manage cyberattacks, improve their preparedness, and draw the right lessons from crises to avoid future incidents.
